1.1 Indian Law: These Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all other legal documents governing your use of Janooma's services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
1.2 State Law: Where applicable, the laws of the State of Karnataka shall apply to matters not covered by central Indian legislation.
1.3 Information Technology Act: Our platform operates in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its subsequent amendments, along with all applicable rules and regulations.
2.1 Exclusive Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
2.2 Consent to Jurisdiction: By using our Service, you irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, for all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Service.
2.3 Waiver of Objections: You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
3.1 Informal Resolution: Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at madan@janooma.com.
3.2 Negotiation Period: Parties agree to engage in good faith negotiations for a period of 30 days before pursuing formal legal action.
3.3 Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties may agree to mediation before proceeding to litigation.
4.1 Arbitration Agreement: With mutual consent, parties may agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
4.2 Arbitration Venue: If arbitration is agreed upon, it shall be conducted in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
4.3 Language: Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.
4.4 Costs: Each party shall bear its own costs of arbitration, with arbitrator fees split equally unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
5.1 Statute of Limitations: Any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or be forever barred.
5.2 Complaint Timeline: Complaints regarding service quality, billing disputes, or refund requests must be filed within the timeframes specified in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8.1 Service Area: While our primary service area is India, international users may access the platform. International users agree that Indian law and Bangalore jurisdiction apply.
8.2 Local Laws: International users are responsible for compliance with their local laws. If local laws conflict with these terms, users should not use the Service.
8.3 Export Controls: Users agree to comply with all applicable export laws and regulations.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions.
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Janooma's failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and other legal documents, constitute the entire agreement between you and Janooma Labs Private Limited regarding the use of the Service.
These Terms are drafted in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In case of any conflict between the English version and a translation, the English version shall prevail.
